Welcome to the final stage! You'll apply everything you've learned to build a complete robotics system from scratch.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this stage, you will be able to:

• Design and implement a complete robotics system
• Integrate perception, planning, and control
• Demonstrate professional development practices
• Present and document your work effectively

Prerequisites

You must complete Stages 1-4 before starting the capstone.

Required:

• All previous stage badges
• Safety assessment passed
• Portfolio demonstrating mastery

Capstone Requirements

Your capstone project must demonstrate:

1. System Integration

   • Multiple subsystems working together
   • Robust error handling
   • Performance optimization

2. AI/ML Components

   • At least one trained model
   • Sim-to-real transfer (if using hardware)
   • Evaluation metrics

3. Documentation

   • System architecture document
   • User guide
   • Video demonstration

4. Code Quality

   • Clean, maintainable code
   • Unit and integration tests
   • CI/CD pipeline

• Autonomous delivery robot
• Humanoid robot with gesture recognition
• Collaborative robot arm with vision
• Mobile manipulator for warehouse tasks
